Rainbow Six Siege SI 2022 EU Closed Qualifier Winner

It was a very close match between MNM Gaming and Cowana, but it was MNM at the end that managed to become the Rainbow Six Siege SI 2022 EU Qualifier winner and book a ticket to Sweden!

After Asia-Pacific, it was the time for Europe to know its one final qualifier for SI 2022, which led to a close clash between Team Vitality, Team Secret, Cowana, and MNM Gaming.

Six Invitational 2022 is about to begin in almost two weeks, and while we already know most of the qualifiers for the biggest tournament of Rainbow Six Siege in 2022 there was one spot left for a European team that needed to be fulfilled through the Closed Qualifier bracket.

MNM Gaming Will Be at Six Invitational 2022 After Becoming the Rainbow Six Siege SI 2022 EU Closed Qualifier Winner

The Closed Qualifier didn’t start well enough for MNM Gaming. At their first match, they were defeated by Cowana, and fell into the lower bracket, where one more loss would eliminate them from the tournament.

That being said, MNM Gaming managed to win over Team Vitality with strong performance and then defeated Team Secret to make it into the Grand Finale, where they met Cowana once again.

In a Best-of-Five match, MNM Gaming had a blasting start by the first two matches, but it didn’t take Cowana longer than that to overcome MNM’s unexpected performance and turn the tables. With two consecutive wins, everything became, leading both teams to the Decider match at Villa.

The final game was a very close one and the teams were trading kills and rounds one after another until MNM Gaming managed to secure a ticket to Sweden’s SI 2022 by defeating their opponent 7-5 at Villa and 3-2 overall.

Although we are almost 14 days away from SI 2022, we are yet to meet the Closed Qualifier winners from North America and Latin America regions.
