Global agency network Radius Travel has extended its relationship with Middle Eastern travel management company ITL World, Corporate Travel Management announced.
The extended agreement ensures Radius will continue to be able to meet customer needs in the Middle East, particularly those in the energy, renewables and marine sectors, according to CTM and Radius VP of global agency partners Nicole Wilcock. The TMC cited a World Travel & Tourism Council report that showed the Middle East in 2021 had the highest-percentage year-over-year growth in business travel spending of any region, up 49 percent, and business travel in the region is forecast to increase in 2022 another 32 percent.
ITL has operations in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar.
“Many of our existing and prospective customers are growing their businesses in this dynamic region,” Wilcock said in a statement. “By ensuring we have a partner that can meet their needs—be it business travel, meetings or events— with a focus on providing excellent service, innovative technology, and a strong return on investment, we’re extremely confident about our enhanced customer offering in this strategic region.”
CTM acquired the Radius network as part of its acquisition of U.S. TMC Travel and Transport in 2020.
