It seems like football’s biggest superstars are now being courted by video games around the world, with new titles announcing collaborations that we have never seen before.
For years, players were associated with football and football manager titles from the likes of SEGA, EA and many more. However, over the last few years, these players have diversified their reach by joining titles in other genres as well.
The latest to achieve that is Argentina and Paris Saint-Germain F.C. forward Lionel Messi, who has partnered with Krafton’s hit mobile title, PUBG Mobile.
We are excited to announce our new collaboration with legendary football superstar Lionel Messi!

The developers unveiled their latest partnership through their social media platforms. However, we don’t know much about it except for Messi’s impending arrival to take place sometime next month. Expect to hear more about this epic collaboration in the coming days.
It will be interesting to see what seven-time Ballon D’Or Messi brings to the table for PUBG Mobile, as fans might receive outfits and other cosmetic items associated with the legend of the sport.
Other than PUBG Mobile, the iconic player has also been rumored to debut on Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as an operator alongside Brazilian great Neymar Jr. and French sensation Paul Pogba. With the 2022 FIFA World Cup right around the corner, there’s never been a better time for these players to expand their reach, and judging by the looks of things, Messi is well on pace to make a mark next month.
