PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2023 release time, date and games line-up

The September 2023 PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games are about to be released by Sony. The next batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be available to download from around 10am BST UK time on the morning of September 19. If you’re a PS Plus Extra subscriber, then the September games line-up is headlined by the Nier Replicant remake, which serves as a prequel to Nier Automata. That’s on top of Star Ocean The Divine Force, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 and Unpacking.

Unpacking is a unique indie game where the aim is to unpack boxes and fit possessions into a new home.

“Unpacking is a zen game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home,” reads the official description.

“Part block-fitting puzzle, part home decoration, you are invited to create a satisfying living space while learning clues about the life you’re unpacking.

“Over the course of eight house moves, you are given a chance to experience a sense of intimacy with a character you never see and a story you’re never told.”

Other games coming to PS Plus Extra include Civilization 6, as well as Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Planet Coaster: Console Edition, This War of Mine: Final Cut and Cloudpunk.

PS Plus Extra subscribers will also be able to play Contra: Rogue Corps, Tails Noir, Call of the Sea, West of Dead, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness and Paw Patrol.

PlayStation Premium subscribers, on the other hand, will be able to play Dragon’s Crown Pro, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, and Star Ocean First Departure R.

Unfortunately, however, it’s not all good news, because nine games will be leaving the service on the morning of September 19.

Indeed, this is your last chance warning to finish the likes of Deathloop, Watch Dogs 2 and Chicory A Colorful Tale.

The aforementioned games will be leaving the service on the morning of September 19, alongside the original Watch Dogs, Umbrella Corp and Nidhogg 2.

That’s on top of Death End reQuest 2, Through the Darkest of Times, and even epic tactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
