Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate will go on sale in India on December 26. The smartphone will be the first smartphone in India with 18GB of RAM. The special edition smartphone in the ROG Phone 5 line-up comes with a unique special edition ammo-box, AR unboxing experience, special edition frosted glass and Storm White colour scheme. The device also comes with the ROG AeroCooler 5 active cooling accessory that has physical trigger buttons and with the white ROG AeroCase. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart at Rs 79,999.

Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is equipped with a Samsung-built 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. The display gets a refresh rate of 144Hz and 300 Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone also gets a PMOLED monochrome display at the rear which displays customisable animations for system alerts and status.
The device comes with ultrasonic AirTrigger 5 on the shoulder, rear dual triggers and motion control gesture inputs. Users can access up to 10 Motion Control gesture inputs alongside the AirTrigger 5 triggers.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. For sound, the device comes with front-firing speakers powered by dual amplifier technology. It also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack powered by ESS Sabre DAC & headphone amp with support for Hi-Res audio playback.
When it comes to camera, the smartphone features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 64MP F1.8 Sony IMX686 main sensor, a 13MP Ultra-wide camera and a 5MP Macro camera. On the front, it has a 24MP Quad-bayer sensor for selfies and video calls. The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.
