Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: A New Pocket Monster to Debut Soon

A newly discovered Pokemon has officially been revealed. The Pokemon Company revealed that players will soon get to learn more about this mysterious being.

This Pokemon first appeared in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. Fans can find this area in both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The Pokemon is “small in stature and not particularly strong”, as per the official description. It can “crystallize the energy in its body to form a protective shield” indicating the Pokemon’s defensive capabilities.

“Apparently, it can also assume a dormant state when it feels that its life is in danger by pulling its head, limbs, and tail into its shell and making itself look like a jewel,” added The Pokemon Company.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is a recent DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In the DLC, players can depart the Paldea region to uncover more secrets.

Fans earlier assumed that the new Pokemon seems similar to the Legendary Terapagos, and that has also been confirmed. However, the name and ‘true nature’ of this Pokemon is yet to be revealed.

The first look at this Pokemon was seen in the Pokemon Horizons: The Series in Japan. Liko, one of the protagonists in this animated series, carries a mysterious pendant.

That pendant was seen transforming into this Pokemon. After protecting Liko from danger, the Pokemon reverted back to being a pendant in the show.

Pokemon Horizons: The Series is a new series that will be uncovering more mysterious about the ever-expanding world of Pokemon.
