Poco is all set to launch its new smartphone C31 in India on September 30. Ahead of the launch the company has teased a few specifications of the smartphone. Poco first teased the smartphone last week when it shared an image mentioning ‘C U Soon’ on its social media handle and now the fresh details have been revealed by the company on its official website. The new smartphone is expected to be an updated model of the C3 smartphone that was launched in India last year. As per reports, over 2 million units of C3 models have been sold in the country since.
According to the website, the Poco C31 smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It also confirms that the device will have 4GB RAM. The landing page of the C31 also claims that the battery of the upcoming smartphone will work 25% longer than standard smartphones in that segment. In terms of design, the device gets slim side bezels and a water drop-style notch. The website also claims that the model will have reinforced corners. It is confirmed that the smartphone will have a blue colour option as officially teased by the company.
To recall, the C3 smartphone features a 6.53-inch display with 20:9 aspect ratio. At the camera front, it gets a triple rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and it also gets a 5MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone gets an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging. It looks like the upcoming smartphone from the Chinese brand will look similar to this C3 with the same water drop-style notch. The C3 model also gets fingerprint scanner and face unlock features and similar features are teased by the company for the upcoming device.
