Poco launches its most expensive phone of 2022 in India: Price and other key details – Times of India

After weeks of teasing, Poco finally launched the much-awaited Poco F4 – a spiritual successor to Poco F1 – in 2018. The vanilla F4 is the second smartphone in the F4 lineup, which consists of another gaming-oriented F4 GT. Poco F4’s key specifications include a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 chipset, 64MP triple camera setup and a 4500mAH battery with 67W fast charging. The Poco F4 is said to be a rebranded Redmi K40S.
Poco F4: Price and availability
The Poco F4 comes in three storage variants in India – 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The base storage configuration is priced at Rs 27,999, while the 8GB+128GB variant costs Rs 29,999 and the high-end model comes at Rs 33,999.
The smartphone will be available to purchase through Flipkart starting June 27. Poco is offering an instant discount of Rs 1,000 and a Rs 3,000 discount on SBI debit and credit cards on the first day of the sale. Customers can purchase the smartphone at a discount of up to Rs 4,000 on the first day.
Poco is also offering extra Rs 3,000 in exchange and up to 6 months of no-cost EMI. Moreover, customers purchasing the POCO F4 will also be eligible for 2 months of free YouTube Premium and a 1-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.
The Poco F4 comes with two years of warranty. The smartphone will be available in two colour options – Nebula Green and Night Black.
Poco F4: Specifications, features and more
Poco F4 has flat edges and the glass rear has a rectangular camera module. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch E4 Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, peak brightness of 1300 nits, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The Poco F4 weighs 195 grams and measures 7.7mm in thickness.
The F4 features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and hi-res audio support. However, the smartphone misses out on the 3.5mm audio jack but it supports hi-res wireless audio. Further, the smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster.
Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 powers the Poco F4. The chipset comes paired with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone comes with LiquidCool 2.0technology having 7-layers of graphite sheets spanning to keep the temperature in check. The F4 boasts a 45000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
The Poco F4 comes with a triple camera setup at the back. The rear camera setup comprises a 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the smartphone has a 16MP camera for selfies.
