Poco is set to expand its smartphone lineup with two new devices — the Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT. The company has also scheduled an online launch event on June 23 to globally launch these two devices. Poco has now shared some tweets from its official global Twitter account to reveal some of the key specs of the upcoming handsets ahead of their launch. The official specifications seem to align with earlier reports that suggested some details about both phones.
Previous reports claimed that the Poco X4 GT was the rehashed version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro, the variant that was launched in China. According to a report by XDA Developers, this smartphone will be released in the Indian market as the Redmi K50i. Meanwhile, the specs teased by the company suggest that the Poco F4 handset is the reconstructed version of the Redmi K40S which was launched in China earlier this year along with the Redmi K50 series. Poco has confirmed that both the upcoming handsets will support 67W wired fast charging.
Poco X4 GT specifications revealed
The company has revealed that the Poco X4 GT will sport a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS display that will support a refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, backed with up to 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The upcoming device will feature a 64MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. As per the report, the handset will pack a 5,080mAh dual-cell battery and the company has also revealed the 67W wired fast charging support. The smartphone is expected to run on a customised version of MIUI13 for Poco phones based on Android 12.
Poco F4 specifications revealed
Poco has also revealed some of the key specs of the upcoming Poco F4 smartphone. According to the company’s tweets, the Poco F4 will sport a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display that will support a 120Hz refresh rate and will come powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor. The report mentions that if Poco F4 is the rehashed version of the Redmi K40S then it will offer up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Moreover, if the speculations are true, the upcoming handset may house a 48MP triple rear camera setup and a 4500mAh battery unit. More details about the smartphones will be confirmed as it is launched officially by the company.
