Pikmin 4: All Flarlic Locations

While playing Pikmin 4, you may realize that the game can be pretty difficult if you don’t have enough Pikmin to help you out on your adventures. Pikmin are the small little lifeforms on the planet that your team is currently stuck on while looking for Captain Olimar.

Some Pikmin can be thrown far distances, some can fly, and some can swim underwater. These special abilities make Pikmin extremely useful creatures, and a must for anyone trying to play the game.

What Are Farlics?

Farlics are light-yellow Onions. The easiest way to tell if you’ve found a Farlic or a Yellow Onion is by looking at the top. The Farlics will have a light-green area around the top of them. This helps make them easier to spot. Farlics will allow you to increase the number of Pikmin you have by 10. There are 12 Farlics throughout the game and two of them can be found on each stage of the game. You will be able to find one underground in the caves and the other on the surface in these areas. You will want to find all 12 so that you can increase the Pikmin you have by 120, making the final a lot easier. While it is important to have enough Pikmin, don’t forget the time-bending mechanic.

Sun-Speckled Terrace

The first Farlic you will find in the game is in the Sun-Speckled Terrace area. This Farlic can be found in the cave known as the “Last-Frost Cavern.” This is where you will meet Russ and be able to train Oatchi. It can be found on the left-hand side of the largest room. You will need to destroy some pots using Oatchi to get it. Once the Pikmin take it back to the SS Beagle, you will have the upgrade.

The second Farlic in this area is on the surface. If you go to the northern area of the map, you will be blocked by an electric fence. Once you have unlocked the Yellow Pikmin, they can pass through the fence. You can then toss the Yellow Pikmin up near the pot on the ledge in front of you. They will be able to get the Farlic for you.

Blossoming Arcadia

The underground Farlic in this area can be found in the Secluded Courtyard Cave. All you need to do is head to the third level and head left. You should see the Farlic growing in a pot. Toss some Pikmin up there and have them bring the Farlic down.

The second Farlic here is found on the southern edge of the water. Since only Blue Pikmin can traverse water, you will need them. You’ll be able to see it inside a wooden area, just toss the Blue Pikmin up and let them get it for you.

Serene Shores

The first Farlic here can be found in the Seafloor Resort. You’ll want to go to the northeastern part of the first level. There, you can find the Farlic on top of a Hydro Jelly. Send your Pikmin to destroy the Jelly and reach the Farlic.

The last Farlic here is underwater in the southwestern part of the map. You’ll see a calm under the water that has some enemies hanging around. Send some Blue Pikmin in to kill those enemies and then grab the Farlic from the calm.

Hero’s Hideaway

The first Farlic can be found in Plunder Palace. There is a table on the right-hand side of the map. Once you find that table, get to the top of it. The Farlic is super easy to find once there, it is sitting on a light pink plate.

The last one is on the kitchen island. At the northern end of the kitchen island, you will see this Farlic sitting alone on top of a plate. All you need to do is send your Pikmin in to pick it up and carry it back with you.

Giant’s Hearth

The underground Farlic is found in the Dream Home. At one point, you will come across two platforms that are moving. One of the platforms happens to have this Farlic on it. You will want to hop on the other and throw Pikmin at the Farlic when it gets close enough.

The other Farlic in this area is found almost in the center of the area. You can find a bridge that connects to the hearth. If you go across this bridge, you will find the Farlic in front of you. This one is one of the easiest to get.

Primordial Thicket

The final underground Farlic is in the Mud Pit. You can find this Farlic if you cross the water on the map. You will find it surrounded by enemies. Simply kill those enemies and have your Pikmin return the Farlic to you.

The final Farlic period can be found in the northern part of the map. There is an area with a bridge, if you cross that bridge you’ll see the Farlic. You just need to send your Pikmin to pick it up and bring it back.
