Oppo is all set to launch its latest Reno series smartphones in China. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the Oppo Reno 8 series smartphones in China on May 23. The company is expected to launch Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 Lite and Reno 8 SE smartphones. Now ahead of the official launch, the upcoming smartphones are listed on Oppo’s China online store. The website listing reveals three smartphone models — Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+.
As per the official listing, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ sports a similar design as the Oppo Find X5 series. The smartphone is said to be 7.34mm thick and sport a punch-hole display. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro have a design similar to Realme’s 9 series of smartphones.
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro and the Reno 8 Pro+ are expected to house quad-rear camera setup, whereas the Oppo Reno 8 is said to sport a triple rear camera setup. The three smartphones are tipped to come in two variants — 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro are said to come in black, blue and gradient colour options. While the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ which is expected to come in silver colour option.

As per the report, Oppo Reno 8 smartphone is expected to be available in three different colour variations — Slightly Drunk, Encounter Blue and Night Tour Black. The device may feature a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 OLED display that may support a 120Hz refresh rate. This device is likely to be powered by a new Snapdragon processor that is scheduled to launch on May 20. The new processor is rumoured to be named Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform and Oppo Reno 8 will be the first smartphone to come with the upcoming processor. The smartphone is also speculated to pack a 4500mAh battery unit that will support 80W fast charging.

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro may sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display which may also support a 120Hz refresh rate. This smartphone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor and might pack a 4500mAh battery unit with 80W fast charging support. This device is also expected to come out in three colours — Xiaoyao Green, Roaming Gray and Dark Black.
Oppo Reno 8 SE expected specifications
Meanwhile, the SE variant might have a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display that may only support a 90Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Reno 8 SE is expected to come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and may also pack a 4500mAh battery unit that will support 80W fast charging. The colour options that will be available for this handset are speculated to be — Slightly Drunk, Clear Sky Blue, and Night Tour Black.
