Oppo A16 is now official. The BBK-owned smartphone brand Oppo has launched a new budget smartphone — Oppo A16 — in India. The device comes with a large display of over 6-inch, a 500mAh battery and an AI-enabled triple rear camera.

The Oppo A16 has been launched at Rs 13,990. The smartphone is already available in the offline market and is soon set to be available via Amazon too as the e-tailer says that the sale of the handset starts today, September 20.

In terms of offers, Oppo A16 will be available with a cashback of up to Rs 750 on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Federal Bank, BOB.
Besides this, it will also be possible for buyers to avail EMI options from financers like Bajaj Finserv, IDFC First Bank, HDB Financials, TVS Credit Finance, Home Credit, Mahindra Finance.
Lastly, customers can get cashback up to Rs 1,500 by purchasing it from Paytm.
Oppo A16 specs
The Oppo A16 smartphone offers a display of 6.52-inch HD+ screen with a water drop notch on the top. The handset runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 and is available in two colour options – Crystal Black and Pearl Blue.
The Oppo A16 smartphone comes powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. On the storage front, the device offers up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
For imaging duties, the Oppo A16 has a triple-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor coupled with two 2MP sensors. The rear camera setup offers AI-based features such as filters, AI beautification, bokeh, HDR, dazzle color mode. On the front, users get an 8MP sensor. Selfie lovers also get access to artificial intelligence (AI) powered Beautification mode.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Oppo A16 offers a USB Type C port. The handset offers features like optimised night charging and smart temperature control.
