OnePlus Nord CE 5G is set to launch in India on June 10. The company has scheduled the event for 7 pm. Ahead of the official launch, the handset has appeared on online commerce site Amazon. Other than the launch date and time, the Amazon page does not reveal any specs/features of the phone. There is a Notify Me button to keep those interested about the phone updated.
OnePlus has been teasing the phone via its Twitter handle recently. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be an affordable flagship product. CE in the name stands for Core Edition. It carries the tagline ‘Core. A Little more than you’d expect.’
According to a report by Android Central, the smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. For comparison, the
OnePlus Nord comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G: What to expect
OnePlus Nord CE 5G is rumoured to come with a 64MP main camera at the back. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen. The phone’s display may offer a refresh rate of 90Hz.
For selfies, the smartphone may have a punch-hole camera at the front. It may offer a 16MP sensor.
Along with the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, the company has announced to launch a new TV under the U series. Called OnePlus TV U1S smart TV, it is expected to come in three screen sizes- 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch. The upcoming smart TV is rumoured to have a refresh rate of 60Hz. The TV may support HDR10+, HLG, and MEMC video formats. For sound output, the TV may come with a 30 watt speaker with Dolby Atmos sound.
