Oneplus buds: New OnePlus earbuds ‘Z2’ specs leak: These could be the key features – Times of India

A new pair of earbuds by OnePlus has appeared in a leak which could be the OnePlus Buds Z2. Leaker Max Zmabor recently shared an image on Twitter, which points to the new OnePlus earbuds. As per Jambor, these earbuds are going to come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) which, if true, would make them one the cheapest earbuds in the market with ANC. They could also come with support for Bluetooth 5.2 standard, which is quite believable and Dolby Atmos technology, which would be interesting to see. They also seem to have got IP55 water and dust resistance rating. The OnePlus Buds Z2 earbuds are expected to be announced by the company with the OnePlus 9RT in October this year.

As per the leak, users may expect up to 7 hours of listening time with just the earbuds and up to 38 hours with the charging case. The OnePlus Buds Z2 could also give you 5 hours of listening time with a 10-minute charge, which should be an improvement over its predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Z, which was claimed to give 3 hours of listening time in the same charging duration.
The OnePlus Buds Z earbuds were launched at Rs 3,190 in India. They come with 10mm dynamic drivers and 3D stereo powered by Dolby Atmos. OnePlus claimed that with one full charge, the OnePlus Buds Z could provide 20 hours of playback time. The OnePlus Buds Z earbuds come with features like Bluetooth 5.0, environmental noise reduction for voice pickup and Quick Pair when taking a conference call or watching a movie.
The OnePlus Buds Z earbuds come with an IP55 rating offering sweat and water resistance for sports like jogging and workouts at the gym. The accompanying Quick Switch function allows the users to stay in control of their audio experience using a 3-second long press.
