Nothing Phone 1 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner – Times of India

Nothing is gearing up to launch its first smartphone on July 12 and ahead of that, the handset has been part of several leaks and rumours revealing key features, specifications, etc of the handset. Now, another leak has surfaced online which reveals that the handset might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The handset has surfaced in a TikTok video (spotted by Twitter user radioactive) which shows the smartphone’s in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset was earlier reported to feature an side mounted fingerprint scanner.
According to the video, the fingerprint scanner placement appears to be at the lower bottom part of the display. There are no details available if it will be an optical sensor or ultrasonic sensor that we usually see in premium smartphones.
Nothing Phone 1: Expected specifications
Based on the previous leaks, the Nothing Phone 1 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. The smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM.
A 4500mAh battery will reportedly back the handset with 45W fast charging support.
Apart from that, the prebooking of the handset is already live on Flipkart.
