Nicolas Cage is coming to Dead by Daylight in an epic crossover, as himself. After the first announcement back in May, followed by a reveal at the Summer Games Fest, Steam has just released a public test build where you can try your hand at game’s latest survivor. Here’s all you need to know about the limited time beta test, and more about the powers and abilities of Nicolas Cage.
Nicolas Cage X Dead by Daylight PBT now live on Steam
The Nicolas Cage crossover Public Test Build is now live on Steam since Wednesday, July 5th. It will be on till Monday, July 10th , 8:30 pm IST. You can try out the upcoming survivor Nicolas Cage, ahead of his official launch in the game on July 25th.
All about Nic Cage’s Survivor
Nicolas Cage joins Dead by Deadlight as himself. As a result, his perks too are designed around the art of acting. The first is Dramaturgy, which according to the press release, will allow players to let their instincts take over, “during moments of heightened intensity”. Apparently, the outcome of it might not be predictable.
The second perk is called Scene Partner, where players can gain deeper insights when staring at a Killer, and anticipate their next move. The third and final perk is called Plot Twist. It gets activated when the players get injured, allowing you to leave no blood pools, make no noise when entering the dying state, or even fully recover from it. Check out the full patch notes for further details.
While Dead by Daylight is available on multiple platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, alongside PC, the Public Test Build is currently limited to Steam for PC. Nicolas Cage officially joins the game as a Survivor later this month on July 25th .
