New Loki Season 2 Poster Teases the Many Variants of Loki

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Loki Season 1.

Marvel Studios unveiled the poster for Loki Season 2, which is set to begin streaming on Disney+ on October 6 — or in 100,000 minutes, if you want to get technical.

The poster, which Marvel shared on Twitter (er, X?) on Friday, shows the many variants of Loki running around the clock face of Miss Minutes, who is placed on a pocket watch. It represents the God of Mischief running out of time, literally, to find Sylvie, Ravonna, and Miss Minutes after the events of the first season.

At the end of Season 1, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) head to the Citadel at the End of Time to confront He Who Remains (a.k.a. Kang the Conqueror), a 31st century scientist who created Time Variance Authority (TVA) to prevent a new multiverse from forming and to keep his variants from coming back into existence after he ended a multiversal war between them.

After giving the choice between killing He Who Remains and risking another multiversal war or replacing him as the overseer of the TVA and a singular timeline, Sylvie kills him and sends the reluctant Loki back to the TVA, creating a multiverse that the organization cannot prune in any way whatsoever.

Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw will be reprising their roles as Mobius M. Mobius and Ravonna Renslayer, respectively, while Tara Strong will return to voice Miss Minutes. Jonathan Majors is also slated to return as Kang, but he is facing domestic abuse charges. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directed the majority of Season 2 after working together on Moon Knight, another Disney+ original MCU series.
