Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake Is Real and It Is Coming Next Year, Claims Voice Actor

2005’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted was one of the most popular games in India, and it appears that a remake of the game is on the horizon. Voice actor Simone Bailly took to Twitter to announce that an NFS: Most Wanted remake is in the works, stating that EA plans to release it in 2024.

Bailly posted a tweet announcing, “Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake is set to release in 2024. LIKE & comment if you want to see Cross (Dean McKenzie) and his partner (Simone Bailly) track down the most wanted.” Shortly afterward, Bailly’s post was deleted, creating further speculation that there might be truth to the announcement.

It is important to note that the deletion of her tweet does not confirm the existence of an NFS: Most Wanted remake. It could be the case that she was requested by EA not to spread false hope. On the flip side, Bailly might have deleted the tweet due to any current NDAs she has signed in relation to the remake.

There is a glimmer of hope among some die-hard fans, including myself, but it is best to take this claim with a grain of salt for now. If there is indeed a remake in the works, I cannot wait to climb the blacklist, win pink slips, and increase my bounty.

The original Need for Speed: Most Wanted was released back in 2005 for PC, Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS.
