Microsoft Xbox Next Games Showcase for Starfield and More Scheduled for June 11; Images of Oreo-themed Series S Surface Online

For those who do not know, Starfield received a new cinematic video for the title, which showcases some new glimpses of their universe. The video also provides players with a much-needed release date for Bethesda’s next flagship title, which has been set for September 6, 2023.

We then see Todd Howard, the Starfield’s game director, provide us with another important announcement. June 11 is the day when we learn even more about the game, through StarfieldDirect, as Howard says there is a lot more left to see. We also see glimpses of character customisation, traversal, and combat towards the end of the video.

What’s more interesting, Xbox has retweeted this tweet of Starfield, and added that an Xbox Games Showcase will follow their StarfieldDirect event. This comes right after Phil Spencer mentioned that they had something in store for us in the month of June. We will just have to be patient till June to see what Xbox has under the wraps.

Xbox Series S Oreo images surface online

In other news, Xbox teased last month about a crossover between their Xbox Series S console and an Oreo cookie. Many players were really inquisitive about what this collaboration would bring for them. Some thought it could be something edible, some thought about controller skins or console skins.

Images of an Oreo-themed Xbox Series S console as well as controller have leaked on NeoGAF, by user Eddie Griffin. The several images show that the Xbox Series S acts as the cream and has Oreo cookie dipped in milk as its casing. The controller has accents of brown and white, representing an Oreo cookie dipped in milk. Another image shows both of them packed in what seems to be a blue-coloured box.
