Argentina has entered the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 beating Croatia 3-0.
This is the same team that lost to Saudi Arabia three weeks ago.
WHAT A FEAT
Lionel Messi’s penalty shot flew past Croatia goalkeeper Livakovic giving Argentina 1-0 lead in the 34th minute.

That was Messi’s 11th goal at the World Cup, beating the all-time Argentinian finals record held by Gabriel Batistuta.
Alvarez scored the second goal for Argentina in the 39th minute.
The third goal came from the foot of Alvarez, assisted by Messi, in the 69th minute of the game to seal the fate of Croatia.

Argentina last reached the World Cup final in 2014 where they lost to Germany.
With 25 appearances at the FIFA World Cup, Messi has now equalled Lothar Matthaus’ record of 25 appearances at the competition.
Argentina will now meet either France or Morocco in the finals on Sunday evening.
