Lava Z3 entry-level smartphone with 5000 mAh battery launched, priced at Rs 7,499 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Lava Z3 entry-level smartphone is here. Domestic smartphone maker Lava has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of Lava Z3 smartphone in India. The smartphone runs Android 11 and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup and it features an HD+ display.
Price and availability
The company has priced the Lava Z3 at Rs 7,499. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Cyan and Striped Blue colour options. Customers can purchase the smartphone online from the company’s official website, Flipkart and Amazon.
At this price point, the smartphone will face competition from Tecno Spark 8C. The smartphone from Tecno comes with a price tag of Rs 7,499 and it is powered by an octa-core Unisoc processor. The entry-level smartphone sports a 6.6-inch HD+ and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery.
Lava Z3 specifications
Lava Z3 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of customization. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will also receive the Android 12 update.
Lava Z3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek A20 Helio chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The entry-level smartphone offers 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The imaging duties on the Lava Z3 are handled by a single lens 8MP rear camera. For selfies the smartphone offers a 5MP shooter. The smartphone offers camera features like Beauty Mode, HDR Mode, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Filters. Lava Z3 is backed by a 5000 mAh battery.
