Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 2 Release Date And Time

Earlier this month, Jujutsu Kaisen marked its return with a second series. Now, it’s finally time for the adventure to continue as episode 2 is right around the corner.

The first episode brought plenty of mystery and intrigue with it, revolving around Tengen, Star Plasma Vessel, Toji Fushiguro, and Suguru Geto, and now it’s time to get answers while also witnessing a new battle that Geto and Gojo have found themselves in. The second episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will animate chapters 67, 68, and 69 from the manga, promising a thrilling ride.

The previous episode saw the emergence of a new group called “Q,” which wants to end the life of Riko Amanai, also known as the Star Plasma Vessel, while Gojo and Geto were tasked to save her life. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 2 Release Date And Time

Episode 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will be released on Crunchyroll on Thursday, July 13th. In Japan, the new episode will release on local networks like MBS and TBS; however, global fans can catch the episode exclusively on Crunchyroll. The streaming platform will simulcast the new season at 10 AM PT. However, as the release timing will vary depending on your location, here’s the exact release schedule for various time zones:

What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?

The episode started with Suguru Geto witnessing a Cursed Spirit feeding on a corpse. He walked down the dark ally and killed the spirit using Cursed Spirit Manipulation and consumed it. The scene then shifted to Mei Mei and Utahime, who were assigned a mission to investigate a haunted mansion. Upon arrival, they split up to search each floor. However, they soon realized they were repeatedly crossing paths on the same floor, leading Utahime to suspect they were trapped in the cursed spirit’s Domain, and Mei Mei agreed to her suspicions.

Utahime discovered the barrier worked like a line and not a circle and suggested running at top speed in the opposite direction to break it. As suspected, their plan worked, but it resulted in the mansion collapsing, and Utahime barely survived it, thanks to Gojo. Two days later, reinforcements arrived, and Suguru immobilized a giant Cursed Spirit.

Geto and Gojo were tasked with escorting the Star Plasma Vessel to Master Tengen. Confused by the mission’s details, Satoru and Suguru mocked Masamichi. They learned that the vessel was essential for Tengen’s power and that rival groups, Q and the Time Vessel Association, were after her.

Their mission was to protect the girl and return her safely to Jujutsu High. Carrying on their mission, Geto approached her room, and an explosion occurred. He survived the attack and saved Riko from falling off the building. Gojo met with a member of group Q, meanwhile, Satoru was attacked by another member. In a nearby building, Shiu Kong offered a contract to a man to kill the vessel, who was revealed to be Toji Fushiguro.
