What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?

The previous chapter opened with a conversation among the characters regarding a small barrier and its surprising ability to provide stability, despite its significantly smaller size compared to a basketball. Kusakabe expressed doubt, stating that achieving such stability was impossible. Mei Mei interrupted, pointing out that they had witnessed numerous impossible things in a short span of time.

Kusakabe contested that creating a barrier with less mass than both oneself and an opponent would typically lead to its collapse. However, Choso enlightened the group by revealing that Gojo was able to accomplish this by drawing upon his past experience of being trapped within the Prison Realm.

Kusakabe persisted in questioning the feasibility of manipulating the conditions of Domains, specifically referring to barriers that are influenced by multiple factors. Higuruma and Hakari inquired whether such manipulation was truly achievable. In response, Kusakabe asserted that their Domains were exceptions since they came by default with their CT.

Witnessing the battle, Mei Mei speculated that Gojo might have attempted to extend his Domain’s reach to encompass the entire Malevolent Shrine. Suddenly, Gojo’s Domain barrier started trembling violently. Yuta quickly realized that Sukuna must have reduced the Shrine’s range to increase his CT output.

Angel warned that if the barrier were to be destroyed, Gojo would be in grave danger. Higuruma stated that since both Sukuna and Gojo’s Domains had collapsed, neither of them could utilize their Cursed Techniques. Maki added that Gojo could regenerate his depleted Cursed Technique as he had done before. However, Angel pointed out that since Gojo had demonstrated this ability in front of Sukuna, the curse was now capable of doing the same.

An example showcasing Sukuna’s adaptability to change was then provided, proving that Sukuna had the ability to restore his depleted Cursed Technique using RCT after Gojo had revealed the technique. The battle resumed, and Gojo successfully landed a kick on Sukuna. Puzzled, Gojo wondered why Sukuna wasn’t attempting to use any Cursed Techniques other than the Shrine’s powers.

He questioned why he had held the upper hand against Sukuna for almost three minutes. Gojo tried to comprehend why Sukuna hadn’t employed the 10 Shadow Technique or Mahoraga inside the Domain. As he pondered this, the wheel of Mahoraga suddenly turned, causing Gojo to feel nauseated and blood to trickle from his nose.
