The launch of iQOO Neo 7 5G is expected to be announced soon. As expected, some specs have leaked and surfaced online.
The new iQOO Neo 7 5G is expected to arrive in India on February 16. Some key details have been announced by the company itself. The Vivo-sub brand has confirmed that the upcoming phone will be a rebadged version of the iQOO Neo 7 SE that was earlier launched in China.
Additionally, it is also confirmed that the Neo 7 5G will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. This is seen as a successor to MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. It will peak at a clock speed of 3.1GHz.
iQOO Neo 7 5G India variant leaked tests
MySmartPrice report has leaked some key details ahead of the release. This includes the device’s AnTuTu scores as well as the MediaTek chipset. If the report is to be believed, the iQOO Neo 7 5G scored 8,62,438 points on AnTuTu. So, for comparison keep in mind that a Dimensity 8100-powered phone bagged a score of 7,10,269 while a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC-powered phone scored 7,28,976 points.
This report further shares some screenshots revealing the CPU throttling test results. The iQOO device throttled to 86% while the Snapdragon 870 throttled to 88 %. Meanwhile, the Dimensity 8100 Soc throttled up to 75%. The Dimensity 8200 SoC which is available on the iQOO Neo 7 5G throttled more than the Snapdragon 870 SoC. However, it should be noted that the Qualcomm SoC scored a higher average Giga Instruction Per Second (GIPS) score.
The report also suggests that the Dimensity 8200 SoC offers higher stability with a score of 99.4, the Dimencity 8100 Soc on the other hand scored 99%. On this, the Snapdragon 870 SoC scored 84%.
Further, the iQOO Neo 7 5G will sport an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate which will come with a hole-punch cutout at the top. It will be powered by the Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 out-of-the-box. The phone is also confirmed to run on a 5,000mAh battery and will support 120W fast charging as well. The phone will be available in two colour variants- Blue and Black.
On the camera front, the camera will be packed with a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel camera.
