iphone: Few Apple iPhone users facing this issue with iOS 15 – Times of India

Apple iPhone users have reported a new bug on their devices after installing iOS 15. This time the bug is affecting the performance of the touchscreen. While few users aren’t able to use the touchscreen at certain places on the display, others complain about the screen being completely unresponsive. We noticed the glitch while using the Facebook app when we saw jerks while scrolling through. At first, it looked like an issue with the app but a similar issue was seen while using the other apps as well. We went on Twitter to see if there are other people who are facing a similar issue and on the app weren’t able to tap on the search option at the top.
After restarting, the device worked smoothly but that wasn’t the case with several other iPhone users. “iPhone is unusable today until the battery drains because the touchscreen is unresponsive, even after multiple reboots. Second time it has happened since installing iOS 15 on Tuesday. @AppleSupport” a user wrote on Twitter.

Few users have also complained about ghost touches after installing the new operating system. The issues with touchscreen in the iOS 15 were also reported during the beta testing and posts regarding the same can be seen on Apple Developer Forums.
Released last week, iOS 15 is already under backlash and this new bug joins the growing list of issues with the new build. Users of the new operating system have already reported issues around ‘iPhone Storage Almost Full’ error message, wrong device capacity tabulation and few popular apps are not able to function properly as well.
The company hasn’t officially acknowledged any of the above mentioned bugs yet and the Apple Support Twitter handle is providing only typical solutions which aren’t working in most of the cases. Apple has already started beta testing of iOS 15.1 and it is expected that the company will roll out iOS 15.0.1 soon.
