ipad mini: Apple wants your help to get the right size for iPad mini – Times of India

Apple is surveying those with the iPad mini about what screen size they would prefer, as per a report by ITHome. It seems like the tech giant wants to have a good idea about what screen size most of the users would prefer and plans to implement the necessary design changes as per the inputs received.
In the new survey, focussing on the iPad mini 4, Apple has posed questions to the users about the iPad mini screen size. The tech giant has asked them whether the screen is “too small,” “a little bit too small,” “just the right size,” “a bit too large,” or “too large.”
The only Apple iPad to have not seen a major design change since it was first launched, the iPad mini could be revamped with a bigger, 8.4-inch edge-to-edge display and a design like the iPad Air, as per reports.
Similar claims of an iPad mini redesign were recently made by tipster Jon Prosser, as per which the iPad mini will be given a revamped design so as to include it in the current design philosophy of the other iPads. Jon Prosser collated data from multiple leaks and sources to create a render for Apple’s smallest iPad to create a new look for the iPad mini 6. It is very much in line with how the other iPads in the Apple family look. The renders show the tablet as having thin bezels and flat edges. Touch ID has been removed from the home button (which has also been removed) and put with the top button.
Apple will unveil its new iPhones and the other new products in September this year. If the iPad mini is set to be unveiled this fall only, the design overhaul of the device must have been made already. If not, then it is a long wait again for those wanting to see something new with the iPad mini apart from the software improvements.
