iOS 15.2 Beta 2 update solves gets new camera features to Apple iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max – Times of India

The recently released iOS 15.2 beta 2 update brings a slew of new features including Legacy Contacts. The feature allows users to choose trusted contacts who will get access to all their iCloud data after their death. There’s also a Communication safety feature that automatically blurs nude photos received in messages.
The update also includes updates to Hide My Email that allows users to create pseudo email ID while sending an email and Find My Lost Item Scanning where the company has added a new option called ‘Item Than Can Track Me’.
Now a report in iClarified has reported that the beta update for iOS 15.2 also includes Apple‘s promised camera feature for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max — the Macro Mode toggle.
The Macro Mode on the latest iPhone Pros allows users to capture extreme closeup shots of smaller things using the ultra-wide lens of the smartphone. With iOS 15, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max used to automatically switch to Macro Mode when brought within 10cm of any object.
According to the report, the latest beta update adds a dedicated Macro Mode toggle within the camera settings and users can head to Settings -> Camera -> Auto Macro Mode and enable or disable the automatic macro mode switching while shooting. With the feature turned off, the iPhone will no longer make the switch to Macro mode automatically.
The company has also added a dedicated toggle for the Macro mode at the bottom left of the camera viewfinder, giving users one tap option to enable or disable the feature.
To get the feature, users will need to install the iOS 15.2 beta 2 on their iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. Alternatively, they can simply wait until Apple rolls out the iOS 15.2 update to all the iPhones out there.
