The Invincible comic series has gained a massive amount of hype since being adapted into an animated series by Amazon’s Prime Video. It seems that the comic will be doubling down on the adaptation move, as a new Invincible video game has been announced. The game based on the comic series will be called Invincible: Guarding the Globe, and it’s being developed by Ubisoft.
Invincible: Guarding the Globe is slated to be a free-to-play mobile gaming title for Android and iOS devices. Through the game, players can expect a brand new narrative experience in the Invincible universe, that has not been seen in the series or even the comics. It is an idle quad RPG title where players will dwell in multi-battle action, character collection, squad management, idle features and a lot more.
The narrative will be an original story that is set in the same universe as the series and comics. The new story will feature old characters and players will have to sign up for the Global Defense Agency to figure out the secrets of the clone army, with the aide of GDA, Cecil Stedman. Players will also be taking part in idle battles, where they have to strategically build their team that can fight when they are AFK.
Here are the characters that you can expect to appear in Invincible: Guarding the Globe:
- Invincible
- Atom Eve
- Omni-Man
- Robot
- Rex Splode
- War Woman
- Black Samson
- Dupli-Kate
- The Immortal
- Green Ghost
Interested players can pre-register for the game on either Android, iOS, or the Amazon App Store to get exclusive rewards as a bonus. These rewards include: Burger Mart Burger, 2 Hero Dossiers, 35,000 Hero XP and 50,000 GDA Chips. Invincible: Guarding the Globe seems like a great pick to try out while you wait for the second season of the Prime Video series to arrive towards the end of 2023.
