Invincible: Fans Believe Old Trailer for Season 2 Teased a Marvel Crossover With Spider-Man

Invincible Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on November 3rd this year. As fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming season, there’s speculation about a potential crossover with Marvel in Robert Kirkman’s comic series adaptation. Some observant fans have noticed an intriguing detail in the trailer that announced the release window for the new season earlier this year. Adding to the excitement, the official Twitter (or X) account of the Amazon Prime Video show, has acknowledged this observation.

Invincible teased Atom Eve PC game is Season 2 trailer, and more

It all began on July 22nd, when the official Twitter account of Invincible shared a picture from the trailer that was released earlier this year, announcing the upcoming season’s release window. The image features a young Eve and Elias Brandyworth sitting in a booth next to Allen and Mark. The picture is captioned, “We tried to tell y’all!!!”, hinting at a potential tease for the Atom Eve PC game that was shown in the trailer six months ago. On the same day, the official announcement for Atom Eve was made.

In the trailer and screenshot, Mark can be seen scrolling through his phone. A fan then posted a highly zoomed-out screengrab that partially shows what Mark was probably looking at on his phone. The outlines are quite vague, but they bear a distant resemblance to the cover of Marvel Team-Up’s 14th issue, Invincible Meets Spider-Man, originally released in 2006. The official account of Invincible responded to this post with the words, “I have no idea what that is!!!”

Invincible fans expect a Marvel crossover in Season 2

Fans have been speculating, and it’s worth noting that Josh Keaton will be voicing a character in Season 2. Keaton recently reprised his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man from The Spectacular Spider-Man TV series in SSU’s latest film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Invincible Season 2 is confirmed to air on Prime Video, starting in late 2023. Additionally, multiple video games based on the series are also set to release soon.
