Indian Navy SSC in electrical branch: No exam, selection through SSB marks

Indian Navy has invited applications for for short service commission in electrical branch. The application forms are available on the official website of Indian Navy and the deadline for the submission of the forms is July 30.

“Due to COVID-19 pandemic, an exception is being made in the public interest wherein no INET entrance exam for the January 2022 course is being held for shortlisting candidate for SSB. The final merit list for induction will be prepared based on only SSB marks,” the Indian Navy has informed candidates.

“Applications are invited from unmarried eligible male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in electrical branch form course commencing January 2022 onwards at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates must fulfil the conditions of nationality as laid down by the government of India,” the Indian Navy has informed candidates.

Candidates with BE or BTech in electrical, electronics, telecommunication, electronics and communication, power engineering, power electronics, electronics and instrumentation or applied electronics and instrumentation, instrumentation and control, instrumentation, applied electronics and communication and electrical and electronics can apply. Candidates should have been born from January 2, 1997 to July 1, 2002, both dates inclusive, the Indian Navy has said.

A total of 40 seats will be filled.
