IB Board Results 2021: VKE student Anoushka among world toppers in IB board grade 12 results – Times of India

PUNE: Student of the Victorious Kidss Educares (VKE), Anoushka Shetty, scored a perfect 45 / 45 marks to emerge among the IB World Toppers in the grade 12 board examinations of International Baccalaureate (IB). The results were announced on Monday evening. Three of our other top scorers achieved a commendable 42 points out of a possible 45 (three students ~ 93.3%). Other high scoring students included six who attained above 37 points. IB World average, from 5200 IB is 36.5 out of 45, where as, VKE school confirmed average is 37.

The graduating students have already gained successful placements and scholarships in the best universities across the world. The impact of the programme is best exemplified, through their performance on the global level where we have achieved results higher than international benchmarks.

Shetty said that, “The grade 12 course is a very demanding, but hugely rewarding course that encourages those who study it to become academically inquisitive, socially aware, and globally literate. The Indus International School Pune had a large group of 108 students in the Diploma Programme this year and they achieved a 95% Diploma with the highest grade score of 44 out of 45 by Shubham Joshi. Vice-principal of the school, Namita Agrawal said that, “Our top cohort average score went up to as high as 38.5 grade points. Students displayed exemplary performance in many subjects , some of them being English, Chemistry , Psychology , Business and Management and Mathematics.” Ten students from the school have been awarded the Bilingual Diploma too.

At the Symbiosis International School, Aria Jain and Saniha Iyer secured 42 / 45 grade points. A total of 56 students appeared for the exam and 52 received their diploma. The class average score was 35 grade points, said a statement issued by the school.
