Corporate mobility specialist HQ has formed a partnership with ride-hailing app Curb that will see the latter’s on-demand taxis added to HQ’s aggregated supply of ground transportation solutions for corporate customers.
HQ, which was recently formed from a merger between shuttle solutions company Hip Mobility and corporate mobility software provider SummitQwest Ground, automates a number of ground transportation processes for corporates, from bookings to payments. The company gives clients access to a list of vetted providers that are part of the Summit Ground platform.
Through the partnership with Curb, HQ is expanding its Summit Ground Connect platform to include managed taxi solutions. It provides clients with access to on-demand and scheduled cab rides, with Curb operating in more than 65 cities across the U.S., including New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
HQ clients now will have access to upfront pricing for taxi rides, as well as Curb’s Pair and Pay feature, which allows users to pay for taxi rides hailed on the street or at taxi stands, and the company’s ability to track travel metrics to offer transparency and help manage travel options. This is combined with HQ’s booking, management and payment tools.
