Honkai Star Rail Beta 2, How to Sign Up, New Screenshots and Gameplay

Honkai: Star Rail, new game from HoYoverse, will soon launch its Closed Beta Test 2 on PC, iOS and Android, here’s how you can apply and the newest gameplay revealed, together with some new lore and screenshots.

Honkai: Star Rail is the newest game part of the Honkai series but with a twist. Rather than action gameplay, this time the battle system is a traditional turn-based JRPG, with large maps and puzzle-filled dungeons to explore. The game follows the adventures of the Astral Express Crew, and lets players pick between two versions of the protagonist.

Honkai: Star Rail Reveals Its Lore with New Screenshots

Honkai: Star Rail mixes scfi-fi and fantasy, taking place in an universe inhabited by Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that are able to freely travel between infinite worlds using some kind of primitive force. All of these different unique worlds are threatened by the Destruction, who regards the universe as a fallacy and civilization as cancer, casting seeds of ruin called Stellarons across the galaxy.

The protagonist, implanted with a Stellaron, joins a trip aboard the Astral Express, a space train, with a group of characters who claim to have inherited the spirit of The Trailblaze, those who pursue the trails of Aeons, exploring various worlds. Besides new faces, characters familiar to those who played past Honkai games will appear as well. The player will explore world after world, meet new companions, resolve Stellaron-related conflicts, and eventually unravel the mysteries concealed within.

• Go to the Honkai Star Rail official site.
• Click the Enter Sign-up button at the top right of the screen.
• Click the start survey button at the end of the newly opened page.
• Make sure to enter accurate information.

I can’t stress this enough but HoYoverse is pretty strict when it comes to this Beta Test, so if you are picked, do no break the NDA, and do not share any screenshots or videos of the beta. The Beta Tests for Genshin Impact pre-release allowed its players to share anything, as well as the first Beta Test for Star Rail. However, HoYoverse changed its stance since then.

The Star Rail Beta Test will not be Starting Before Late May 2022

The sign-up process for the beta will end on May 15, so you can expect the Beta to start in late May at the earliest.
