Here’s when Oppo will launch its first Android tablet: Details inside – Times of India

Oppo is all set to enter a new product category. The smartphone maker has already confirmed that it will launch the Oppo Find X5 series and Oppo Enco X2 on February 24. Now, the company has confirmed that it will also launch its much-teased Android tablet — Oppo Pad at the same event. This will be the company’s first Android tablet.
The company has also shared a teaser, which confirms the design on the tablet. Oppo Pad will come with a single rear camera and Oppo Pencil stylus support. The image shared also reveals that it will come with a metal frame. The Android tablet will come in two colour options — Black and Purple.
The yet-to-launch device was also listed on jd.com. The online listing confirmed that the device will come with a 120Hz refresh rate display and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The tablet will run ColorOS and will be backed by a 8,360 mAh battery.
Oppo Pad rumoured specifications
Oppo Pad is rumoured to sport an 11-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM.
The tablet is expected to pack 256GB internal storage. Oppo Pad will reportedly run Android 12 operating system topped with company own ColorOS for Pad. The device also offers Oppo Pencil stylus. Oppo Pad is also expected to sport a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.
Oppo Pad is said to come with quad speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The device is expected to be backed by a 8,360 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
Rumors also suggest that Oppo will also sell a keyboard case with the device. The keyboard case will be able to store the Oppo Pencil.
