Season 3 of The Witcher Netflix series is all set to arrive on June 29, 2023, and this will also mark the final run for actor Henry Cavill in the franchise. If you were living under a rock then you might not have heard that Cavill will be making his exit at the end of this season, making this the last time we see him playing the role of Geralt of Rivia. Liam Hemsworth will be taking Cavill’s spot from Season 4.
Cavill was recently spotted at Netflix’s Tudum festival in Brazil, where he revealed more about how it was working as The Witcher in his last season of the series. As reported by PCGamer, Cavill started off by stating that he just wants to talk about his co-stars as it has been a “pleasure and an honor” for him to be working with them for the entirety of the Witcher series.
Cavill added by saying that the cast members have brought “such nuance and details to these characters, which are often at risk of being oversimplified”. Cavill compliments The Witcher cast by noting what they have managed to pull off with these characters, “involved work, care and effort”. He concluded by stating the he was going to miss the cast very much.
