Hearthstone Onyxia’s Lair Mini Set Release Time and Date

The Hearthstone Onyxia’s Lair Mine Set release date has been set for this week and will add the latest card expansion to the game across all platforms.

And the good news is that Blizzard has promised that its next update will include new cards, returning mechanics and something special in the bundle department.

While it won’t include quite so many new cards as a fully-fledged expansion, there is still plenty to get excited about. Here’s everything we know about the new Hearthstone Onyxia Lair Mini Set release date, including what time to expect the latest update to arrive.

What Is In The Next Hearthstone Mini Set?

The new Hearthstone Onyxia Lair Mini Set includes what Blizzard describes as 35 distinct cards to collect. In total, this will mean four Legendary cards, One Epic card, 14 Rare cards, and 16 Common cards. The good news is that all of these new cards will be available in Fractured in Alterac Valley packs. And for anyone who wants to splash the cash, the entire collection is $14.99 or 2000 Gold.

Blizzard has also made a small change to how bundling will work, as for the first time, a new option to buy the Golden set of all Mini Set cards will be available for $69.99. So what would be the point in grabbing all of the new cards, including one copy of each Legendary card and two copies of each other card? As the name hints at, Onyxia’s Lair boasts some powerful new dragon cards and some returning mechanics, with Blizzard telling fans this month:

“Surprise! Lady Prestor and Kazakus were dragons this whole time. And they’re not the only ones. Onyxia’s Lair is chock-full of new dragons that can add some real fire-power to your decks. You can’t get through a max-level raid without picking up a good trick or two along the way. Show these Dragons what you’ve learned with returning mechanics from throughout the Year of the Gryphon.”

Hearthstone Onyxia Lair Mini Set Release Date And Time

Blizzard has confirmed that the new Hearthstone Onyxia Lair Mini Set release date has been set for Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Based on previous updates and set releases, we know the release time for Onyxia Lair to be 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM GMT.

And as ever, there is more stuff being planned away from the new card, with Blizzard confirming updates to the popular Mercenaries and Battlegrounds modes.
