Harley Quinn Season 4 Gets July Release Date

Harley Quinn Season 4 is slated to begin streaming on Max on July 27, IGN has confirmed with a spokesperson for the streaming platform.

The popular DC animated series starring Kaley Cuoco as the anti-heroine and Joker’s ex-flame was renewed for a fourth season last summer amid the carnage of animation cuts at Max (called HBO Max at the time) by Warner Bros. Discovery, not to mention the cancellation of Batgirl. Now we’re about to see more of Harley’s adventures through Gotham City and beyond by the end of next month.

Spoilers for Harley Quinn Season 3 below.

Harley Quinn Season 3 ended with Harley joining the Bat Family, now led by Batgirl (Briana Cuoco) in the absence of Bruce Wayne (Dietrich Bader) following his arrest for endangering Gotham with the zombie apocalypse resulting from his attempt to resurrect his parents, which Harley was hailed a hero for stopping, and evading taxes (something Joker is smart enough not to plead insanity to). Meanwhile, Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) accepted Lex Luthor’s (Giancarlo Esposito) offer to lead the League of Doom, which Harley was afraid would happen because she feared losing Ivy if she went down that path.

Although, we saw Harley and Ivy back together again in Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, when Harley went to extreme lengths to make the holiday the most romantic day ever with disastrous results for Gotham City.

Sarah Peters, who has written for Harley Quinn since Season 1, is now helming the series as showrunner, while fellow writer Ceci Aranovich will oversee animation production going forward.

TVLine first broke the news of the release date.
