Harley Quinn and Nightwing Duke It Out In New Gotham Knights Gameplay

WB Game studio announced a new release date for Gotham Knights during Gamescom 2022. The game was announced to launch four days early. Alongside this announcement, the studio revealed a new trailer. It’s named the Villain trailer that shows all the iconic Batman villains like Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and Harley Quinn, who will be the bosses in the game. After the announcement, IGN followed up with a seven-minute gameplay video where Nightwing takes on Harley Quinn in one of the game’s boss battles.

The boss fight takes place at the Gotham Hospital. Up until this moment, Nightwing was in pursuit of Harley while trying to figure out what she was up to, according to IGN. Of course, she was up to no good; this is the Harley Quinn. However, Nightwing figures out her location just before the battle and confronts her.

Harley Quinn is one of the Villain bosses in Gotham Knights. She has an entire arc that runs parallel with the main storyline. It should be noted, though, that this version of Harley Quinn is not from the Arkham games. It is a completely new version of the character cooked up by Warner Bros. Games Montreal specifically for Gotham Knights.

The signature pigtails are gone and her makeup style has been changed and it actually looks kind of similar to Heath Ledger’s Joker. But she is still rocking that big, dangerous hammer, and her terrible quips are still present, as heard by the villainess referring to her opponent as “Nightbutt.”

Gotham Knights will be released on October 21st, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
