GTA 6: Rockstar Games Owner, Take-Two Takes Down Goat Simulator 3 Advert for Featuring Leaked Footage

A Goat Simulator advert has fallen into trouble with Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two interactive for featuring leaked footage from its long-awaited RPG title, Grand Theft Auto VI.

The advert in question received a DMCA takedown notice from Take-Two Interactive, as the company holds the copyright for all leaked footage and assets from the upcoming title in the wildly popular series.

Following the takedown by Take-Two Interactive, the Goat Simulator Twitter account poked some fun by replying with a GIF of Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons finding himself in danger.

The advert revolved around the NPC Shaun from the franchise’s latest title in Goat Simulator 3. The trailer featured an interview of the character, as he was asked on how he became a part of the title. Furthermore, Shaun further reveals that he will be part of several other titles in the future, which includes Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto VI, with the statement accompanied by the leaked footage that went viral earlier this year.

The GTA 6 leaks became one of the biggest talking points in gaming this year, when footage and other details about the title surfaced online. Several fans and industry insiders have dubbed it “the biggest leak in gaming history,” due to its contents.

With the footage confirming the developmental status of the most hyped title in gaming history, fans took to social media to voice their opinions on the long-awaited title. In the end, the leak increased the number of eyeballs on GTA 6, which was already shaping up to be the biggest reveal/launch in recent history.
