GTA 6: 50 Cent Deletes Instagram Post Teasing Vice City as GTA Online Prepares to Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary, Devs Tease Big Update

Rapper 50 Cent dropped a bombshell last week, when he teased a potential collaboration with Rockstar Games and its iconic franchise, Grand Theft Auto.

The Power actor teased him being part of an upcoming project, when he posted a photo of the Vice City logo on his Instagram. This has led to speculation that he might be part of Grand Theft Auto VI, which will bring the series back to the Miami-inspired city. Other than his involvement in GTA 6, there are other theories about 50 Cent making a live-action TV show or film revolving around the franchise.

And to make the matters more intriguing, 50 Cent has now deleted the said post, which seems to suggest that Rockstar may have asked the In Da Club artist to take it down. In the end, it will be interesting to see what the collaboration has in store for fans of the rapper and the GTA franchise.

GTA Online devs tease exciting future with 10-year-anniversary close by

2023 marks the 10th anniversary for GTA Online, which released two weeks after the release of Grand Theft Auto V on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

And with Grand Theft Auto VI in development, fans wonder whether Rockstar Games might slow down on creating more content for players on GTA Online. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as revealed by Rockstar North Design Director, Scott Butchard.

In an interview with GamesRadar, Buchard talked about the journey he and his colleagues have made from the mode’s release to now, with all the DLCs, updates and content additions they have worked on. Furthermore, he also shared how the developers never envisioned seeing GTA Online being active like it is right now, ten years after its release.

With the anniversary right around the corner, the developers at Rockstar don’t have plans to slow down. “We’ve got a bunch of ideas in the works right now, all the way up until the Holidays at the end of the year, so please stay tuned!”, said Buchard.
