Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the fell 0.11%, while the index fell 0.05%, and the index climbed 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the were Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:), which rose 3.58% or 2.00 points to trade at 57.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) added 2.94% or 10.30 points to end at 360.70 and Brenntag AG (ETR:) was up 2.69% or 1.98 points to 75.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zalando SE (ETR:), which fell 2.16% or 0.81 points to trade at 36.64 at the close. Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.52% or 0.52 points to end at 34.12 and SAP SE (ETR:) was down 1.46% or 1.78 points to 119.88.
The top performers on the MDAX were Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which rose 2.99% to 11.19, Gerresheimer AG (ETR:) which was up 2.78% to settle at 90.60 and Sixt SE (ETR:) which gained 1.86% to close at 109.80.
The worst performers were Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 13.01% to 6.35 in late trade, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which lost 2.46% to settle at 24.95 and Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC (ETR:) which was down 2.25% to 1.20 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Software AG (ETR:) which rose 49.02% to 29.76, Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 3.92% to settle at 46.08 and Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 3.58% to close at 19.67.
The worst performers were Nagarro SE (ETR:) which was down 2.24% to 98.05 in late trade, Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which lost 1.52% to settle at 34.12 and SAP SE (ETR:) which was down 1.46% to 119.88 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 340 to 317 and 94 ended unchanged.
Shares in Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.58% or 2.00 to 57.84. Shares in Brenntag AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.69% or 1.98 to 75.50.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 1.43% to 17.06.
Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.43% or 8.65 to $1,999.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 1.12% or 0.87 to hit $78.74 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.24% or 1.01 to trade at $82.47 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.45% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 101.16.
