Keywords Studios has expanded its presence in India by adding a third studio to its operations in Bengaluru.
The 32,000 sq ft “state-of-the-art” studio will house all the services provided by Keywords India, including art services through Lakshya Digital, localisation, functionality quality assurance, and game engineering. The facility has a capacity for 600 employees.
Keywords Studios claims that the new studio is environmentally conscious and will take measures such as eliminating the use of plastic and exclusively relying on renewable power sources. The company is also committed to regional growth and promoting Indian talent through its “Destination India” campaign. The studio will hire employees for game art, functionality quality assurance, localisation, and game development as part of this campaign.
The facility will serve as a “backup site for the company’s India IT operations,” ensuring business continuity in case of disruptions with a “robust 10G network and server infrastructure.” Moreover, the facility follows the ISO 27001 – ISMS Governance standard.
