Fortnite to Release Anakin Skywalker Skin on May the Fourth

Players already know that Fortnite is one of the biggest games in terms of collaborations with other IPs. Fortnite has collaborated and brought over pop culture artists, characters from different games, movies and so much more. One of the most popular collaborations out of the set will always be Fortnite x Star Wars, that brought the iconic Lightsabers to the game.

The last Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration we saw was all the way back in 2019, for the promotions of The Rise of the Skywalker. Through that event, players could choose Lightsabers belonging to Kylo Ren, Rey, Luke Skywalker and Mace Windu. The collaboration also saw the introduction of the Millennium Falcon Glider alongside other cosmetics.

As Star Wars Day (May 4) is approaching, it seems fitting that Fortnite will join in on the celebrations. The game’s Twitter account has just posted an image of Anakin Skywalker’s skin, with the caption, “You’ve been chosen.” The hype has gone through the roof since the skin has been announced, so check out how Anakin Skywalker will look in Fortnite below:

Moreover, in the image with Anakin Skywalker’s skin, we see Fortnite x Star Wars written in the top-right corner. And, Fortnite’s official Twitter account has also replied to the above tweet stating that the new experience is approaching from May 2, 2023.

As of now, we do not know what all this collaboration could bring to the table. According to popular Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, the Fortnite x Star Wars collab will drop on May 2 and will bring new Mythic Weapons, multiple Skins and Force Mythics in Fortnite.
