Fortnite-Nike Collaboration Launches Airphoria, a New Air Max 1 Themed Island in Limited-Time Experience

Fortnite’s latest crossover is a product of their multi-year partnership with Nike, which has resulted in the new island of Airphoria. Players can now experience this floating city of Airphoria, play games and win Nike themed skins, and more. Here are the details.

What is Airphoria like?

The latest Fortnite island, Airphoria, is based on one of the most iconic sneakers from Nike – The Air Max. Airphoria is a floating city, where you’ll be greeted by Airie, a character who’s a sneakerhead himself. They’ll introduce you to your objective- “Airie” has thwarted “Maxxed Out Max’s” attempt to add missing Air Max Grails to his already maxxed-out collection.

As players, your goal is to recover lost Air Max Grails from around the island, and return them to their owners. The city of Airphoria, celebrates Sneakerhead culture with inspired landmarks like “Station 97,” “Shoebox Tower,” and “Museum Max”.

What’s there to win?

Moving on to the best part, if you spend ten minutes on the island, you’ll receive an Air Max 1’86 Back Bling, an in-game replica of the original Air Max 1 in the game. In addition to this, several Air Max themed items are now available in the Fortnite Item Shop. These include Airie and Maxxed Out Max outfits, which also come with the Airphoria Pack. The Airphoria Pack also includes the Pure Sole Boombox and Maxx Stacks Back Blings. Some of the other items available in the Item Shop are That Ice Pickaxe, Maxx Axe Pickaxe, Maxx Drop Glider and Keep ‘Em Crispy Emote.
