Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1: Bugha and Mero Complete Their Three-Peat After Latest FNCS Win

Fotnite is one of the most played games out there at the moment and with the end of Chapter 3 Season 1 coming closer by the day, the anticipation for Season 2 is unreal. Due to the massive popularity of the game, Fortnite has also ventured into the esports sphere, where influential players participate hoping to win the tournament and prize money. Fortnite Champions Series or FNCS is an esports competition that is held during every season of Fortnite.

FNCS is the most popular tournament that is held by Fortnite and it has seen a huge number of popular players participating each year. Out of all of these players there are two names that many won’t forget. According to a report by Estnn, Bugha and Mero’s team has made history in the Fortnite Champions Series by bagging their 3^rd consecutive win in the competition. The duo qualified for the competition with ease and began this competition with different teammates, but eventually joined forces. Winning the competition is one thing, but Bugha and Mero absolutely dominated this season’s FNCS.

They started the competition strong by maintaining a 4 point lead from second position on the first day of the competition. The second day of the competition was thought to receive an uproar from the challengers that were trailing this duo, but to no avail. Bugha and Mero ended up dominating the competition on the second day too, and didn’t let any other team snatch the first position even for a second.

Due to the masterclass display by the Duo, Bugha and Mero were crowned champions for FNCS Chapter 3 Season 1, which also helped them secure their three-peat. For winning the FNCS competition Bugha and Mero were awarded $130,000. Bugha has managed to prove his mettle to the world time and again. He is the only solo world champion that has managed to win FNCS for 3 consecutive times. Mero is also lauded for being an outstanding young talent, he is managed to get a professional hold of the game and tournaments in a very short amount of time.
