How To Beat The Fastitocalon

Clive Fighting The Fastitocalon With Eikon Abilities

The Fastitocalon is a massive turtle that moves much quicker than one would expect. As most of its body is its hard shell, you’ll only be able to land your attacks on its head with your sword bouncing off of its shell and interrupting your combo if you hit it. The Fastitocalon will often use its shell-spinning attack, which will launch it around the battlefield and deal large amounts of damage should it run into you. You must dodge this attack, as it will even break through Titan Guard.

Its other main attack is a water cannon, which can be easily dodged or blocked; it’s a perfect time to land a few counter-attacks. While your basic attacks will bounce off its shell, you must fight this beast head-on. Should you get caught behind it, many Eikon abilities, such as Thunderstorm and Rising Flames, won’t be blocked. Wait until its water cannon attack to try and land more stagger-focused attacks such as Gouge. After it’s staggered, land your most powerful abilities and utilize your Limit Break to maximize damage.
