Actor Nayanthara was recently spotted with sindoor (vermillion) as she visited the Kaligammbal temple with her boyfriend-filmmaker Vignesh Shivn. A video from their visit surfaced online in which the duo was seen posing for pictures with fans inside the temple complex. After watching the clip, fans wished the couple a ‘happy married life’. In a video, Vignesh Shivn is seen shielding Nayanthara with his hands around her as fans started crowding around the couple for selfies. Amid the chaos, Nayanthara can also be seen smiling and waving at the fans.
The video was shared by the actor’s fan account on Instagram and several people took to the comments sections wishing the duo a happy married life. A person wrote, “Senthoor (vermillion) on her forehead. Damn good.” Another fan said, “Happy married life to you dears.” “Beautiful couple God bless,” commented an Instagram user. A fan also said, “Got married ah.” “Happy married life,” wrote a person while another said, “I’m happy for you Nayan.. you deserve this life.”
Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivn-directed Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal is gearing up for release this April. The teaser of the movie was released recently. It looks like a light-hearted comedy about a love triangle featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha. In the film, Vijay and Samantha play characters named Rambo and Khatija, respectively. Nayanthara plays a character called Kanmani.
The project marks the maiden collaboration of Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha as a pair. Even though both of them were part of the critically-acclaimed Tamil film Super Deluxe, they didn’t have scenes together. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. It marks the reunion of Vignesh, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara after their previous outing Naanum Rowdydhaan.
This will be Vignesh’s fourth outing as a director. He had last year directed a segment in Netflix’s Tamil anthology, Paava Kadhaigal. Vignesh’s short in the anthology explored same-gender love and featured Anjali and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles.
