Reliance Jio is offering a brand-new prepaid plan that is priced at ₹222 only. In order to buy this plan, you would need a base plan first, as this is a 4G data-only voucher. This plan is called the Football World Cup Data pack and has presumably been created to ensure there are more eyeballs turned in to Jio Cinema, the official broadcaster of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Even though the name of the plan is centered around the event, it may not be discontinued after the World Cup ends, based on Jio’s business plans.
Reliance Jio Football World Cup Data pack
The Reliance Jio Football World Cup Data pack offers a total validity of 30 days. It will also offer 50GB of high-speed data, which, the brand believes is all any football fan requires to enjoy football. It is important to note that once the 50GB of data is over, the speed of the internet would decrease to 64 kbps. Users would have to recharge their data plan again.
How to recharge using this plan?
There are four main ways to recharge your smartphone with this new prepaid plan. These are:
- You can use Jio’s own app, MyJio, to search for the plan and recharge it.
- You can select the plan on Jio’s official website and then recharge it after entering the required details.
- You can go to your nearest Jio retail store to get the recharge done.
- You can look for the prepaid plan on third-party payment platforms and recharge your smartphone via the same.
