What is the pitch report for EN-W vs AU-W, Women’s Ashes 2023, 3rd ODI?
The batters will have the upper hand as there won’t be much aid for the bowlers on this wicket. Even though it’s a flat batting deck, chasing more than 250, takes a lot of hard work.
So much to be proud of in defeat ❤️

Pre-Match Analysis:
England Women missed out on a great opportunity of winning the Women’s Ashes with a marginal 3 runs loss in the 2nd ODI. All-rounder Natalie Sciver carried the whole team’s responsibilities on her shoulders, scoring a fighting 111* runs from 99 balls which turned out in the losing cause. The series is squared at 1-1 and they can still wrap it up by a 2-1 margin.
Australia Women pulled things back in the 2nd ODI where they defended 282 runs successfully and retained the Women’s Ashes with a game in hand. Experimentation in their batting order got clicked once again with Ellyse Perry smashing 91 runs coming in at No.3 and with late valuable contributions from Annabel Sutherland and Georgia Wareham they surpassed the 280 run mark which looked an impossible task when they were reduced to 158 for 5. Spinners Ashleigh Gardner and Alana King starred with the ball in the latter half, picking up 3 wickets apiece. They lost the T20I series 2-1 and look to make it up in the ODIs.
