Elden Ring Had Over 700,000 Concurrent Viewers on Twitch and Beat the Likes of Sekiro and Dark Souls 3

After months of waiting with teasers, gameplay demos and more, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has finally arrived, and it has done so in great fashion.

Over the past week, the game has received stellar reviews from critics, with many of them giving perfect scores for the open world gameplay that the developers have created.

However, following the game’s release, it seems like the game has caught fire in the commercial world as players have began talking about, after getting their hands on it.

And it’s not just the players who have made a big splash on Elden Ring, as the latest title has also caught fire on the popular streaming platform, Twitch.

Within a day of the game’s release, the streaming platform has seen crazy numbers with Elden Ring as it broke the 700,000 concurrent viewer mark.

To put it into perspective, other popular FromSoftware titles like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Dark Souls III didn’t even break the 300,000 mark once.

Even though, Elden Ring has a similar feel to Dark Souls III with its visuals and gameplay, the newer title has gained a worldwide following especially because of the hype it has generated with the gameplay demos, teasers and the news about collaborating with celebrated author George R. R. Martin.

In the end, it seems like FromSoftware has hit the jackpot with Elden Ring, and it sure seems like they might have created a major Game of the Year nominee for the upcoming year, and along with its commercial success, it looks like the game will be a massive player during the awards season later this year.
